A person gives a lot of energy to the material, there is no leisure to look after his life and soul. The poetic life must be a materially simple life, which can be confirmed on all great poets, philosophers, and sages at home and abroad.
"There is only one kind of true heroism in the world, that is, after seeing the truth of life, I still love life."

I absolutely agree that the spiritual world is higher than the material world. I experience that everyday.

I agree with the premise of your blog as stated as stated in the two sentences of the entry, but the title can be a bit misleading in my view, because it implies something wholly beyond that two sentences. In the sense that the spiritual is more eternally significant and we should not work for the mere material benefits of this world, I whole-heartedly agree, but that there is a dichotomy, as the Gnostics recognized, I can not agree. You see, every thing I do, brush my teeth, balance my checkbook, be kind to my wife, pay my taxes, take care of my mind and body, have a spiritual dimension since I am a steward of what God has given me. I do all that I do as unto Him and for His glory and the glory of His Son, Jesus. He is so kind to in turn cause those acts of mundane worship, along with the more obvious varieties, to benefit me. Therefore, my purpose is, as the question and answer teach: “What is the chief end of man? To glorify God and enjoy Him forever.”
